No one could ever be bored in New Orleans; there is simply too many exciting things to do here.  Apart from the many museums, restaurants, and attractions, the city boasts excellent shopping opportunities, tours of all kinds, weekly arts and farmers markets, inviting natural landscapes, and of course, festivals and parades all year long.  There are literally hundreds of festivals in the city and the region each year.  On any given weekend, there might up to 8 festivals going on at one time.  And when it’s Mardi Gras time, dozens of parades can take place in just one day.  We rarely take a break.  Life is too short not to enjoy it to the fullest.
