Twelve-Step Groups

Just like any large city, New Orleans has 12-Step meetings and support groups available of all kinds.  You can find many of them by dialing 2-1-1, which is the Greater New Orleans Community Resource Directory with over 3100 local programs. Calling 2-1-1 is free.  The service is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  If you cannot access 2-1-1 or are out of the area dial (800) 749-2673 or go to www.vialink.org.

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and events can be found at www.aa-neworleans.org. The Central Office is available to offer information and assistance 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 504-838-3399.  The 42nd Annual Deep South AA Convention is being held June 18-20, 2011 in New Orleans.  Check out the conference’s website at www.bigdeepsouth.org for schedules and volunteer opportunities.

Narcotics Anonymous can be reached at (504) 899-6262 or www.noana.org for updated meeting schedules and events.  You can get more information on the website regarding the 12th Annual 2011 New Orleans Area NA Convention.
