Free, Family Fun at the O!

Home to the largest collection of Southern Art, the “O“, is a shining jewel in the New Orleans Arts District. Since 2008, it has hosted the Family Fair, an event designed to bring parents and children together in a world of arts and crafts. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. Admission is free!

Activities include the following: Hobby horses, farm-animal masks, creative vegetables, farm books, sunflowers, Make Your Own Ring Toss, and more!

Food and drink will be available for sale, including goodies from Taceaux Loceaux and Ur Way Yogurt & Coffee Bar.

There will also be entertainment by the Preservation Hall Junior Brass Band, Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra, New Orleans Dance Collective, and Calliope Puppets.
